Description
The Chinese Blueline Angelfish, or Chaetodontoplus septentrionalis, is a captivating species of marine angelfish predominantly found in the Indo-Pacific region. This species is distinguished by its striking deep blue body adorned with yellow stripes and a vivid yellow tail. Reaching up to 7 inches in size, the Chinese Blueline Angelfish is an omnivore, thriving in marine settings with coral, rock, or plant elements. While it can adapt to a range of tank conditions, a minimum tank capacity of 180 gallons is recommended to provide adequate space for its wellbeing. This angelfish, also known as the Bluebanded or Bluestriped Angelfish, is found around Vietnam, Taiwan, Southern China, and Japan. Its dark black body, contrasted with iridescent blue horizontal stripes, makes it an exquisite addition to any saltwater marine aquarium, bringing a splash of colour and elegance to the underwater world.
